Why the calendar works the way it does

How entries, series and statuses fit together.

Every check in Check Now lives on the calendar as an entry. Understanding three ideas makes the rest easy.

Entries vs series

A one-off check is a single entry. A repeating check is a series: one rule (for example every Monday) that produces many entries. Editing one entry changes only that date; editing the series changes every future entry. This lets you move one week without breaking the pattern.

Why cancelled is different from deleted

Cancelling keeps a record that the check was planned and deliberately skipped, which matters for audits. Deleting removes it completely. Use cancel when a check simply won't happen; delete only for mistakes.

Why the template matters

An entry points to a check template. The mobile app shows the template's questions when the check is done, so fix questions in the template, not the entry.

Statuses

Entries move from scheduled, to completed on the mobile app, or overdue if the time passes. Overdue entries are what trigger alerts and appear in round-ups.
